Joshua Kimmich believes Germany are among the favourites to claim the 2026 World Cup title after the Germans continued their impressive run of form.

Germany right-back Joshua Kimmich believes the Eagles are heading in the right direction and could be among the favourites to win the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico in the next two years, Ufabet Germany reported on Sunday.

Germany enjoyed a fine start to their last outing, thrashing Bosnia 7-0 at home in the UEFA Nations League in Freiburg on Saturday. When asked if the Germans could dream of winning the 2026 World Cup,

‘Yes, the expectations are certainly reasonable. However, there is still a long way to go. I think we are on the right track. I have said many times that the World Cup does not start when the tournament starts, but from the preparation until then.’

‘Every win is good for us, even against Register ufabet Hungary on Tuesday. Where nothing is at stake anymore. We still want to move forward,’ Kimmich said.

After an initial teething period under Julian Nagelsmann, Germany has once again turned into one of the better teams in Europe. At EURO 2024 they performed strongly but were eliminated at the quarter-final stage after a controversial non-handball call on Marc Cucurella, but so far they have not let this elimination bog them down.
